Home Performance Professionals
With the advent of peak petroleum, tensions in oil producing areas of the world and events such as the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the Home Performance industry is an idea whose time has come. Energy efficiency is recognized as one of our greatest energy sources in the quest to meet future energy needs, and one of our greatest opportunities for meaningful employment of a suffering American workforce. Bob Kahabka, a training specialist for the past 30 years, will discuss the evolution of Home Performance training, from the oil embargo of the 1970’s through today. He will identify components of some successful training initiatives and offer a view to what could be the coming renaissance for Home Performance training. - Introduction of BPCA/NYS’s New Executive
